This year we have the greatest mix I believe I have ever seen on the Red Carpet! 2019 is set to be my fave red carpet so far with pastels and metallics and showcasing a lot of what we are currently seeing in our evening wear, cocktail fashion with a display of luxe fabrics, beautiful in depth and embellishments with fringing and beading and layers and layers of chiffon.
Constance Wu took out our number 1 gracefully in a sunshine yellow custom Atelier Versace Gown, The Crazy Rich Asians Star is definitely turning heads her smile alone lights up this years carpet.
Our number 2 is Laura Harrier and not only is this dress delicately embodied in beautiful beaded blue its also a sustainable Louis Vuitton! The Spiderman actress is not only showing her beauty, she is doing it with her morals in check! Love this so much!
3rd on our List is Amanda Stenberg wearing a Miu Miu gown, thie dress is elegant, its fancy and she looks just golden in a silver/blush layered, shimmy style dress which is all about the detail.
Check out Jennifer Hudson in number 4 spot in a stunning red, fit for the occasion Elie Saab Couture. Red is definitely her colour, the frills and one long sleeve accentuate all features in all the right places.
Emilia Clarke is a long way from her GOT style in this Balmain dress and made it to our 5th in line due to the gorgeous pastel/metallic combination, the sleek style is feminine yet sharp and strong, pastels soft yet the metallic sparkles stand out and dazzle leaving room for her sparkle.
6 on our Top 10 is Lisa Bonet, most famous for both her ex and current husbands looked fabulous next to the Aquaman star in matching Karl Lagerfield outfits, again elegantly detailed and embellished with lace and beading layered over a gorgeous metallic lilac.
Number 7 is our new Captain Marvel Star Brie Larson looking ah...mazing in a Celine gown all metallic, high split, just perfect without needing any extras, the new star is literally shining!
Gorgeous Country Singer Kacey Musgraves has taken 8th position in a soft layered pink chiffon dress with strong accentuated neck collar. This dress is designed by Giambattista Valli Couture the 6 time Grammy winner pulls off the almost 80's bridesmaid style with a stylish twist to make it something very special.
We have Lady Gaga at number 9, yes i know she will probably be in number one spot for a lot of reasons tonight, we see a very softened and toned down gaga tonight and we think that has a lot to do with her biggest role in A Star Is Born alongside Bradley Cooper seeming to bring out the best in her taking a few layers back and showing herself to the world minus the crazy make up and fashion. There still is the odd element to this dress with the almost handlebar, shelf style hips built in but it wouldn't be Gaga without the odd eccentricity. Tonight she is wearing the famous Tiffany Yellow Diamond and there will be many eyes on her for more than the Alexander McQueen Gown.
Taking out number 10 Spot is Jennifer Lopez in a Tom Ford Metallic Dress, we originally had her in a number 1 spot but there are so many gorgeous pieces tonight. JLo is 50 this year and no one can believe it, managing to pull off a mirrored, long sleeve, sleek, shiny gown like this is an achievement in itself at any age! She is simply amazing accompanying her gown with a very sassy and uncharacteristic Blue steel pose.
We can't wait for the big awards and seeing these gowns again on stage.
